Waves of color

I love photographing water. Anytime. Anywhere. Any light. This on the rocky shore of Lake Champlain as gentle waves broke over the stony bottom and clouds in a blue sky above provided abstractions and contrast. As was the case here, I typically find camera settings that work for the conditions and what I hope to see and then make a half dozen or more exposures because you never know!

Beautiful photo! Love the colors and fluidness of this image. Well done!

That diagonal really helps tie the image together. The varying colors and shapes are pleasing as well. You could clone out some of the bubbles on the surface, but that’s pretty subjective. Nicely seen and an interesting take on this week’s theme.
