Weaving colors together

I find it challenging to photograph spider webs in ways that they are not stereotypical. This one with a blurred background of flowers leaves the classic web shape behind in favor of an overlay of lines. Clearly there was a tradeoff between a blurred background and a sharp web. I enjoy seeing it every time I open the image in large part because it is not so obviously a web.

Not stereotypical at all. Not sure I’ve ever seen it’s like. Very nice.

Mission accomplished John. It took me a couple of seconds to realise the lines were webs. I like colourful bokeh.
