Taken at Brazoria NWR in Feb 2018. Canon 7DII, Tamron 150-600 @ 600, 1/200, F9, ISO 400. Taken late afternoon and even in the color version the water is white so I decided to go B&W. Processed in LR and then finished off in Silver Efex Pro.

The head on, centered view here is very powerful, Terri. The details in the gator’s head look great and stand out strongly against the bright water. I think your high key b&w approach works very well here.

Scary and cool image. The B&W works really well with this one.

Nice choice of framing, Terri. A square-on pose always works well centered.

Very cool, Terri. The head on view works very well and I think the Black and White treatment makes it look more menacing than color would.

I look at this and I can hear the music from Jaws playing in my head, Awesome!

Powerful image. Love the light water and all the detail in the snout. Looks appropriately menacing!
