Forests are notoriously difficult to photograph with their chaotic and complex appearances. I’ve attempted to isolate a composition here that reflects the rich and vibrant autumn colors of the Olympic National Park rainforest.

My first impression of your Oregon Rainforest image was: "Wow! Finally somebody who is not afraid to leave a bit of complexity (e.g. a bit of what a rainforest really looks like in real life) in the image. "
In my eyes, an excellent “environmental portrait” that shows how interconnected (interdependent?) life is in a rain forest. Two thumbs up.
Cheers,
Franz
P.S. May I ask where this rainforest is in Oregon? [Or is it top secret?]
Whoops! That “Oregon” rainforest is actually Olympic National Park, which, unless it has been relocated south, is in Washington. My apologies. I will attempt to edit the original post. Thanks much for viewing and commenting!
Robert: You’ve depicted the rainforest very well with this. I’ve been there a couple of times but not for many years. It is about the density of the flora. Frame filling fantastic IMO.>=))>
