Wenatchee Orchrds

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

A nice view from Wenatchee Heights overlooking an orchard taken about 90 mins before sunset. May seem a little bright but I think it’s a good representation as seen. Not trying to create anything, just a basic post card style shot. I really enjoyed myself not feeling any pressure to make art…just taking pictures.

You may have just been taking pictures, Bruce, but experience shows in this image. I really like the composition and the lighting is excellent. I suppose you could play with the tonality here and there in processing to add drama to the image, but I like this as posted.

I, too, like it as posted. I was in Wenatchee yesterday in late afternoon and your photo captures what the scene looked like to me. Very nice. The abundance of lots of wildflowers all around the area made our round trip from Yakima very pleasant.

Thanks Dennis

Thanks Jim. Sounds like you arrived about the time I departed. I made a short stop in Leavenworth but photo ops seemed scare so I headed home. it was an enjoyable trip. Part business and part pleasure.
