Critique Style Requested: Standard
The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
I like the color of the madrone bark and took this photo mainly because I (finally!) had a bird on one of the madrone branches. I removed some of the dead branches.
Any thoughts appreciated.

So nice!!! The colors of the branches are just right and the BG is to die for! Great detail but it would be worth the trouble to prune the branch behind his beak, and the one exiting the bottom of the frame just right of center catches my wandering eye.
Mine are looking at two nest boxes! Can’t wait!
Beautiful Allen. The colors of the blue bird and madrone are so complementary. I might be inclined to try a portrait crop to reduce emphasis of the small branches leading out of the frame on the right and the floral colors in the bokeh!

Really nice Allen. The color palette is so pleasing and as you say the color of the branches quite complimentary. The branches flow together very well. Nicely done.
Excellent work, Allen. Pacific Madrone branches go every which way with no rhyme or reason that I’ve been able to decipher and taming them into a pleasant composition to set off a bird is no easy task. We have one at the back of the property and I used its dead branches for perches, but they’re really tough on photography.
