The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
You never know where the birds will show up. My wife and I spent 4 days birding in Malheur NWR (eastern Oregon) where there was more water than has been seen in years and the birding was great. But this shot was taken at a rest stop just west of Burns(the city just north of Malheur). The Bluebird flew into the Western Juniper as we were eating lunch and gave me a few seconds to fire off some shots.
Specific Feedback
Any thoughts appreciated.

Beautiful images, both, Allen. The first one is is particularly good, and I love the texture of the juniper as a setting for the bird. The second one has a gorgeous composition and nice smooth background, but seems a bit dark. I think a little boost in overall luminosity and an extra bit in the eye to bring out the sky reflection would take over the top.
Love these birds Allen and this image. Two things make it special: the shade and the tree behind. The Mountain Bluebird’s coloration is very subtle. I have learned over time that shooting birds in shade almost always captures color better than shooting them in sunlight. The background is a perfect contrast and also provides habitat contrast.
The first photo is impressive. The blue color of the feathers is enhanced in shady or overcast situations. The texture of the tree in the BG is wonderful and paired with the bluebird results in perfection. No nits from me…Jim
