After a short night of sleep, and before driving up to the mountains, I decided - before breakfast - to make a trip around the Denver International Airport as you can usually find some species around airports. Among other birds, I found this Western Kingbird, perched on a wire. For other shots, please check

Thanks for viewing and have a nice weekend,
Cheers, Hans

Very nice, Hans. I never thought of airports and I should have. Our local one supports a population of a relatively rare variant of the Horned Lark.
Really superb detail in the plumage. A very pleasing pose and an excellent find in Denver. Wonderful background.
