Description

I was tickled yesterday morning to have this handsome guy continue hunting for breakfast as I stopped, and shot him from the car window about 20 feet away. I had this nice feeling of peaceful coexistence. Felt good.

The colors and details really pop.

Very nice shot of this bird in a natural setting for it, Dave.

It does pop beautifully. I’d be tempted to remove the thin diagonal stalk behind its bill. Well caught indeed. I love when the car window serves as a tripod!

Hi Dave, lovely details and color in a natural setting. I also noticed the thin twig Mike mentions - If mine I would take it out. Either way, this is a fine image.

Nice shot of a tough bird to get right Dave. I love the color mix and the composition.
