The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
I liked this as much for the meadowlark as for the plant and the complementary background and the way the morning sun lit up the plant. I could have cropped more to emphasize the meadowlark, but wanted more of an environmental image. The bug was a nice bonus.
Specific Feedback
Any thoughts appreciated.

Nice! I like the position of the meadowlark, and the bug is a great addition.
The perch with the white “flowers” is interesting, and the whites look good. Very complimentary BG.
I think a pano crop leaving just the cool flower tops might be better; the dead bare stems below don’t add anything.
Nice find!
This is gorgeous, Allen. I love the lighting and the head turn of the Meadowlark is perfect. As noted the bug in the beak is a great addition. While I don’t think anything is blown in this, I’d probably pull the highlights down just a little bit, but that’s probably just a matter of taste.
Really nice catch on this shot Allen. The bird, the bug, the blurred background, and the dried flowers. It does not exactly follow the rule of thirds here…but it does not matter. I would not change it except maybe toning down the highlights. Well done.
Nice catch Allen. Love the head turn with the grasshopper in the beak. I also like the environmental setting of the image. Agree with toning down the highlights just a bit. A nice image either way.
This is just a lovely monochromatic color palette with perfect lighting on the bird. I wouldn’t change a thing! I love all the white lines of her back feathers. Hypnotic!
I missed seeing this in October. It is really nice and I hope it is framed, hanging somewhere your home. Beautiful colors, nice story telling and great context.
