Wet birds are a challenge in sunny conditions. One typically gets specular highlights some of which are distracting and some that emphasize the wetness. Sometimes the image is unusable because of the quantity of distracting highlights. I did remove some here but left some. Taken at a reservoir from the shore. 40% of full frame.

David, the wetness of the bird shows well here. I also like the implied motion from the wake, the bird’s reflection and the textures in the water. Nicely done.
