White-crowned Sparrow

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

A bird that seems to be more comfortable around people than most. I was sitting quietly in the sand dunes while this sparrow was flitting all around me, sometimes in the beach grass or on the sand, but I waited patiently for it to land on this piece of drift wood.

Specific Feedback

Any thoughts appreciated.

This is gorgeous, Allen. Until I read your description I was starting to wonder if you were getting into replacing backgrounds. It is absolutely perfect for the bird and perch. The singing pose is also excellent.
