Hi Allen. Nice pose you caught here. Love seeing the yellow on the head so well. I rarely do a good job like this showing the yellow. Nice display and exposure on the white throat as well. The log is a fitting perch for this species as is the background. Nice to get the separation here versus being flat on the ground. I could see trying a different crop - more space on the right mainly. A fine image.

A great shot of the sparrow, Allen. I’ve only seen one of these this far north. I see what the other Allan was talking about with the crop, but that perch is probably going to make things difficult since it’s already going gout of focus at both ends
