Description

this is taken out my bedroom window several years ago. It’s a rare visitor, that is the white crowned sparrow. We see plenty of other sparrows but this is a rare for here. Because it was so different than the other species, I like it.

A very photo-worthy species! Comp looks good and the sparrow and perch are nice and sharp with excellent detail. I like the pose. If this is a crop, you may want to give the bird a little bit more room on the left as it is very snug fit. Other than that very minor nit, I like what you presented…Jim

Nice singing pose and an excellent job on the image, David. I’m surprised they’re rare at your place. We have them pretty much every year and you hear them in all the parking lots in town that have trees (admittedly not that easy to spot).

Love these little sparrows. We have them in our area in winter but I rarely see one. Outstanding shot. Love the open beak. Pleasing perch and background. No nits from me.
