Any pertinent technical details: This was recently taken at the Merced National Wildlife Refuge in CA. Shot with a Nikon D500 with a Nikon 2-500mm lens with a Nikon 1.4 TC at 1/4000, f/7.1, ISO 1600, focal length 330mm handheld. Cropped down to 1731 x 2122 from 5568 x 3712.

Very nice, Dave. Excellent colors and a nice composition. If you’re using Photoshop or something else with a clone or repair tool, you might want to get rid of some of the white debris and a couple of the brighter grass stems entering the bottom of the frame.
