This Egret just pop off the screen. The whites look great and the black legs and feet also show nicely. The reflections are a nice touch and the eye contact setts the mood of this photograph.

I like this pose, Chris. The head on of the egrets often look pretty goofy, but the way it’s holding its neck works well in this image.
