The female of this species likes to hunker low in the grass. I found her this morning in typical form. I chose a wider aperture than normal to help blur out the grassy background.

Magnificent take, Allen. So nice that you were able to get such a clean contrasting natural backdrop. Keeping the wide aperture works well for me too at longer focal lengths. Cannot fault this in the least.
