Wind

Specific Feedback Requested

I did “cheat” a little on this one.
Can you spot it?

Joao, wonderful palette of color and layers. 6 second speed was perfect to me. A beauty…

Conceptually, I like the idea, and the exposure seems about right. However, compositionally, one sharp element unaffected by the wind would be ideal.

Composite of ICM and a “straight” image ?

I like the various bands of color, and your processing of the color is very lush and vibrant. I think @Tony_Kuyper comment is valid, I’m having a hard time finding a place for my eye to settle in this image. Without that, it just feels a bit too chaotic for my preference.

Thank you all for your comments

@Tony_Kuyper and @Ed_McGuirk I do agree with you. These type of scenes works better with a sort of an “anchor” but there wasn’t one so I had a go just like this.

Composite of ICM and a “straight” image ?

Sorry, that was not the case.

Beautiful!

The framing accentuates the floral layering, and the direction of the movement.

I’m surprised at the length of the exposure, but I guess it all depends on how much wind is blowing. The scattered patches of nearly still snippets of the scene weren’t impacted by the wind and they add to the overall feel.

Do you know the focal length of the zoom?

Namaste

Paul;

Lightroom told me it was 200mm
