Wow, David. This one is really nice. I love that catchlight, and the feather detail is excellent. The little waves from the rain are a nice added touch.
Nice and sharp on the bird, David, and I like the rain dappled water in the background. To my eye, the bird looks just a touch oversaturated, but I do need to calibrate my monitor again. The raised wings give us a great look at the plumage that we don’t usually get. I don’t know what the original looked like, but I could see removing a touch from the bottom and adding the same to the top if you have it.
