You have two well-made images here that show off the seasons. You must have marked your spot in the snow with something that would be there after it melted. Nice to see seasonal images like this. On the first shot you might want to consider reducing the highlights some maybe using a lights 1 or 2 luminosity mask. The light yellow area in the middle of the image feels a bit hot to me.

Jim, the agreement between the two views is amazing. I like them both. The lighting in the first one reminds me of paintings from the “Hudson Valley school” with it’s limited contrast and brightness in the highlights. The reduced exposure in the repost makes viewing a bit easier, but the trees in the lower curve feel too dark. It’s a fine sweeping view of the river.
