Definitely interesting. The contrasting color really helps this, I think.
I’m struck by the similarities of the look of this image to the look of some of @Bonnie_Lampley recent willow shoot-through images. It’s amazing how two very different techniques can produce somewhat similar looking results. In some other recent ICM posts from other NPN members, we discussed how inclusion of blank white skies can potentially create distracting hotspots in ICM forest/tree images. But I really like how you incorporated the blue sky into this image, you made the sky an integral part of the ICM. The sky both defines the shape of the trees, and creates a warm / cool color contrast. This approach worked really well for you here, this is very nicely done.
The rhythm works for me in this composition. It feels like a crescendo in music. Perfect aspect ratio for me.
