The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
I took this image two weeks ago in France close south of Paris. Usually snow is coming end of January, February, in winter. I never experienced snow in Automn. Concerning but very good opportunity to capture the collision of season. Having one part of the image with snow the other without also catch my eyes. Waiting for your feedback both on composition is the stone too much in the composition) and also the development; I’ve tried to increase a bit contrast between cold snow and warm leaves. Is it too much?
Technical Details
I focus on the stone, f10, 1/125s, ISO400, with Nikon Z7 and 24-70mm at 24mm

Arnaud, your composition emphasizes the two sides of the view, the snow and trees on the left and the clear roadway on the right. The color in the trees and grass look fine to me. While the stone doesn’t stand out strongly, it is very different from the grasses, so I’m thinking that removing it may noticeably change the feeling of the view.
When evaluating an image’s composition, I always try to find the elements in the image that carry the most “visual weight”. In my eyes, the stone on the left and the path on the right carry equal visual weight, making the overall image balanced. I personally like balanced more pleasing than unbalanced. I vote to keep the stone in the image.
If the stone has to go, I would crop right above the stone, throw away the entire bottom of the image, and turn the top half into a sweeping panorama.
