Within a Slot Canyon

I walked to the very end of a slot canyon where there was little light and took this image. Most such canyons require a fair amount of hiking. This one was close to a road. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

I like the graphic diagonals in the comp and the dark shadows. This one might also work as a high contrast B&W.

Nicely processed Igor. Wonder what a streak of light coming down a shaft on the left would do.
Personally, I find the white border a bit distracting. And of course, B/W is an alternate

This has nice angles and interesting colors. I looked at it for a while and it seemed that my eye just seemed to wonder around the image and did not find a central point of interest to to hold my attention. I also think that this might be a good candidate for B&W.

A nice abstract for sure. The colors and texture work for me. I was gonna suggest cloning out the lighter spots near the LLC but on a second thought I think it helps to give a context of which way is down in the image.

I don’t like to introduce that much change in processing. I’m ok with removal but not with addition. It’s a big subject.

Igor

I did not mean adding anything- sorry for the misunderstanding- only if that light was present.
I am sure you have seen and taken such images

My mistake Karl. Yes there was a time of day when more light entered the canyon but in this case it was not to my liking. There was no shaft of light but some of the walls were more brightly lit.

Lovely capture, Igor. The rich color is what really attracts me so much here. The post processing looks really look in this; no nits at all from me. Beautiful shot.
