Yellow-rumped Warbler

The cherry trees are in bloom and I spent the morning seeing how many species I could capture amongst the flowers.

Pertinent technical details or techniques:

Canon 7DII; Sigma 150-600 at 600 mm. 1/640 at f6.3; ISO 125; Tripod; LR and PS. Slight crop off the left and two extraneous branches removed.

A lovely sign of spring. I like the composition with the warbler nicely framed and lots of room to showcase the flowers and colors. It makes me want to get out there.

Beautiful, Allen. I love the bird against the out of focus flowers. A nice choice of depth of field.

Excellent color, detail, light and composition. I think perhaps you could lighten the tree branches a bit to show some detail. And maybe eliminate the 45° angle branch behind the bird and the flowers in the left upper corner. I don’t know that it adds a whole lot to the image.
