Zebra Trail Lizard

These little lizards are common in AZ but this is the first one I came across that my wife spotted was larger. They are very fast but this one sat there about 30 seconds and I captured the tail up which is what I was after. Fair about of cropping here, maybe 60% Canon 90D 100-400 at 240mm F/11 1/250 ISO 1250. Welcome any advice on any adjustments.

I think it’s a great find, but at the wrong time of the day, because sun is overhead.
You may burn the BG and try to enhance the golden color of the lizard to improve the visual appeal.

I agree, we just happen to be walking around and spotted quite a few. So I tried it anyway. Your suggestions Jagdeep are a good idea to try.

Dean, this is a good catch. Love the curled tail. I don’t know if they’ll cooperate, but a shot from ground level, especially with that tail curl, could be nice.
