As I was coming back from an appointment last week, the snow and ice started coming down. I had to get to work, but I took a few moments to see a few images on the way back to my home. Here are a few vultures on the roof of the office building across the street from my neighborhood. Since they are in South Carolina, they were not use to this type of weather.

Patrick, I find it interesting that you split the frame with the roof line, while that might not be the first choice for many, it works well here, especially with the clean sky contrasting with the shrub tops in the lower half.
Patrick: I think this is challenging to view and that is a very good thing. The way you’ve split the frame is brilliant IMO. An intriguing and engaging image. >=))>
Interesting crop and positioning of the birds in the frame. For a while I was thinking there was too much sky, but actually I think there could be even more empty space! Great in bnw!
