Looking for a simple soft way to express myself as I age. Just to take a photo of something we see everyday and bring an awareness of the Simple !!! My music is going the same way. To find beauty in the simple things in life!!!

Gill: As an old guy myself I appreciate your sentiments. I like what you’ve done here. At first I thought it might be better without the OOF stems but on further reflection I think they enhance the feeling you’re after. Nicely conceived, composed, captured and presented. >=))>
Thanks for your comments. Im 73 in January and see the world from a different place. I love black and white photography and good original guitar based music. Keep it simple and melodic. Tone is so important to me now in the Images and Music. I have a couple Images Videos on Youtube of my images and orinal music if interested.
I think I would clone out the OOF elements and just let the softness speak for itself. One of reasons for B&W is to remove the distraction of color from the equation to allow shape, texture, and light convey the photographer’s intent. The BG here just detracts from the softness of the subject.
Thanks for showing interest in my image. I tried it both ways with and without OOF at the bottom. And crop tighter. But it didnt look natural. So I presented this version. I burned them in some to help it along. . Thanks again for showing interest.
Thanks. Black and White is my favorite. Hope to see your work in black and white. To show the soul and tone and another perspective in an image. Simplicity is something I’m trying to achieve. Long exposure photography.
