Chris, you have plenty of reasons to be happy about this image. It is really captivating. The blue color is almost metallic and crystal-like. I like the composition you used creating the sensation that the flowers are jumping at the viewer.
I do not find them too distracting. Had I edited the image, though, I would have tried to reduce the yellow luminosity a little just so it’d be present but not competing with the blues. Again, I don’t find the yellows distracting.
