Sadly, this infant monkey quickly learned to come to the courtyard at each dinner time at the “Eco” Lodge, begging for treats. I doubt strawberry sundaes are a natural food for monkeys.
Will he ever learn to forage for natural and healthy food?

Based on my experience with animals, especially smart ones? Sadly, not a chance. Even moving them doesn’t work, because if they don’t come back their survival rate is low in a new environment.

Excellent documentation of this behavior, Sandy, and a very good photograph. I wish the container hadn’t been clear plastic as it dopesn’t show strongly against the monkey, but it gets the message across.
