Lovely photo Dan. Exposure is spot on with details in the blacks and whites. I really like the complimentary green bg. If mine and I remembered I would remove the little highlights on the food item and reflection. Well done with the nice low angle.

Lovely detail and low point of view, Dan. I like the angle of the coot to you. My personal taste would call for darkening the coot a bit as I like “black” birds to look black even at the expense of detail in the darkest shadows. It’s interesting how well this image shows the effects of sunlight reflecting off the water with the sides considerably brighter than the top of the bird.
