Excellent detail, Eddie, and you did a great job on the black plumage. Coots manage some of the strangest poses and this is a fun one. The water is also very nice in this image. Well done.

It is fun to see birds in a non-traditional pose. You did a good job with white, black and grays. The reflection just adds to this photograph. Nice work.

Excellent look at this coot. I like the pose and the water especially. Very good job of the detail and the black coloration in the plumage.
I like the pose and exposure has provided some nice detail with the grays and blacks. I wish that there was more depth of field which is needed as the extending wing and tail are OOF. Otherwise, I like the composition with the green water and it generates a lot of interest in the coot…Jim
