Allen — Beautiful image! The goldfinch, of course, is a standout, and the composition makes it not just another bird image. The diagonals created by the bird’s position plus the direction of his gaze, the positions of the branches and flowers, and the depth of field work to feature the bird beautifully. Nice job!

My kind of bird image, Allen: birds and flowers always go great together. Good pose and detail and I like the framing of the flowers around the goldfinch. Nice background as well. The falling flower gives a sense of action.
