Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

I like bird photos where I would like the image even if the bird was removed. For me, this is the case with this image.

Specific Feedback

Any thoughts appreciated.

Interesting, Allen. I don’t think I’ve ever seen hummingbirds in our apple blossoms, though it might be going for small insects rather than nectar. You’re right, I would like this without the hummer, but I think a tad more on the right so that last clump isn’t cut off would be nice.

Hi Allen, interesting perspective on the hummer. I like the overall composition with the bird below the branch and the flowers nicely seen. I think Dennis’ suggestion with adding to the right if you have it would be good to consider. Nice frame.
