Another beautiful image of this bird, David. I have trouble choosing between the two. I like the angle a little better on the first post, but this closer view really shows off the plumage detail and the wonderful red eye. Wonderful images.
Wow. Superbly done! The detail and the exposure are spot on. A bird I haven’t seen photographed much and I’m not surprised given the when and where.
A really nice portrait of this attractive bird David. The minimum DOF helps to set him off from the background and the fine detail looks great in the enlarged view. I would be happy with just this one shot from the trip.
