Another lonely walk

Inspired by Ian Wolfenden’s contribution to this Weekly Challenge: a beach in Normandy, France, with two small persons walking in splendid solitude.

The two people so a fine job of showing off the solitude, Hans. The beach, ocean and cliffs are lovely.

Han,

Lovely coastal image. Colors are wonderful and the people of course help to tell a story.

Just knowing now that you say a beach in Normandy… conjurs up all kinds of historical images and reminders. Not knowing this, the image would still be a wonderful coastal landscape.

Han: Makes me want to be there! Beautiful scene superbly composed, captured and presented.

Thanks for your comments, Mark, Lon and Bill. A very nice place for a long walk, cliffs, beaches and dunes.
@Lon Overacker: this is not one of the D-Day beaches (they are a bit less idyllic), but there are many manifestations this year because of the 75th anniversary of the invasion in Normandy. Very impressive, with the last veterans that are still with us.
