On May 11, I had fun photographing around 12 Egrets, in a little pond in the back of Rocky Neck State Park. These two stayed to gather for around 5 minutes.

Canon R5, Canon 100-500mm & 1.4ext, f10, 700mm, 1/400, -1.3EV, ISO100. The shot is cropped by 55% into a 16 by 9 and I adjusted the highlights in DXO Photo Lab 5.

I like this, Peter. It’s so unusual to see two of these together.
Very nice to get the two similar poses – but just different enough to add interest. Nice whites and a pleasing environmental setting.
Very cool seeing these two together like that. The environment is very nice and I wouldn’t mind seeing more on top. Of course there could be a distracting element up there but if not I would like to see more background. Looks like a fun day Peter!
