I liked the pose with the wings and tail feathers spread and the setting in the reeds .

Excellent Allen. The extremely warm light makes for an interesting image, though it took a few seconds to identify the bird with all the markings kind of blended out by the light. The detail is superb and I love the framing created by the reeds.

The NEXT color-coordinated BG! You guys are on a roll!
The strong sunlight isn’t the best but we have to take them as we find them. The BG reeds are pleasantly soft-toned. If there is anything left to do to tone down the brightest reeds, it would be worthwhile. You might clone over the bright piece in the LL corner. I like the crop in the way the reeds frame the bird, and I like your frame and the choice of colors. I would consider making the outer piece wider than the inner brown one, by 2-3x.

Hi Allen, the warm lighting is very pleasing and I like the composition between the reeds and the pose you caught…attitude indeed! Nice and sharp with lots of detail too; noticed he’s hanging on with just one foot…for a quick getaway, ha ha?
