Wow! This is gorgeous! Wonderful lines and colors, with the soft dreamy effect fitting the subject so well. I love the soft yellow-green highlight.

I am distracted by the bottom edge of the bokeh ball on the left – I think softening the edge would be a nice touch to an already gorgeous image.

Chris,

Pure elegance. It has such a great flow and the color combinations are just wonderful. I agree with @Diane_Miller about the bokeh ball. I would blur it more to make it less apparent.

I love your approach to this image, Chris. the shallow depth of field and the lighting work magic with this subject.

@Diane_Miller Thanks for the suggestion, Diane.

@Dennis_Plank @Youssef_Ismail Thank you for your comments.

This is such a beautiful image. The colours and shapes have come together so well.

So well seen, captured and processed.

@glennie Thank you vey much.

Absolutely fabulous. The lines and softness work well and I really like the limited color palette. Terrific light through the leaves at an angle, too. Wow. Fantastic.

@Kris_Smith Thanks!

Definitely a dreamy image. I love the tones and hues you’ve employed here. For me it’s just a tiny bit too soft…but then again, it made me enlarge the image and stare at it for a minute! It just seems too close to being out of focus vs softening the sharp parts.

Chris: I’m really late to this party but oh this is fine! The artistic flare works so well. You’ve taken what some would consider mundane and uninteresting subject matter and made a really compelling image. Superbly conceived, captured, processed and presented. Most excellent. >=))>

@Bill_Fach Thanks, Bill…never too late :wink:

@Paul_Holdorf Thanks, Paul. That’s always the dilemma with the Lensbaby.

Chris, congratulations on the EP – so well deserved!! This is a unique and wonderful image!

@Diane_Miller Thank you!
