Baby it's cool out there

Feb 14, was a heat wave with a 20 degree start to the day, for the last two weeks the temp. has been between 7-15 degree. Anyway I found this GBH at the Black Hall Outfitters Old Lyme Marina. The next shot was also taken there also. The third shot is form the Four Mile River. I thought all three photos showed what life is like for a Blue in a Conn. winter.
Thank you for stopping by.

Peter, wonderful series showing these Heron in their environments. Yes, they do look very cold. Very nicely done and thanks for sharing.

It is fun how they get all wrapped up in those big wings like an old overcoat. A nice series. I esp. like the first one out in the water.

Hi Peter! Love your Heron shots, especially the first one! He really does look cold, poor thing. Beautiful details in the feathers and eyes.

Yes, that first one is special! Poor thing!! I was cold today and it was 54 degrees.
