The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

I was at the Salton Sea and there were many a 1,000 of these birds there. My bird app identified these are blue-winged-teal. These birds are fast flyers going back and forth from the sea to a pond close to the sea.

Specific Feedback

I love this photo in many ways and want to make a large 18x12 or a little larger. Looking for tips to make this a good print for my house.

Dean, It’s been a zillion years since my days as a teen armpit fishing, ( wade out up to your armpits) at the Salton Sea. We would catch our limits of Corvina and Sargo back then.
This is an excellent in flight take on these blue-winged-teal ?. The only thought for change is to clone out the small white spots. Regardless a wonderful image… :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
btw: I was surprised to see the foliage ? in the BG area. So much of the Salton Sea is so flat out there and the terrain around it too.

Wow! What a beautiful image, Dean, of these Blue-winged Teals. They look tack sharp and pop against what is a very pleasing background and water reflections. I would agree with Paul about the water drops, except for those just behind the feet of the trailing duck. Also, maybe a tad more room in front for the female to fly into. Definitely a wall hanger.

Thanks for the feedback, @Allen_Brooks and @Paul_Breitkreuz. I expanded the front some and cleaned up water spots except under the feet

I definitely prefer the looser composition, Dean. A beautiful image. Definitely worth printing and hanging.

Beautiful flight captures Dean. I also prefer the looser crop. Really nice exposure and details. Should make a fine print.

Beautiful image of beautiful birds. Love the colours.

I like the repost with a little more breathing room in front, but I like the water droplets.
