The crop looks fine to me, Dave. Was that hazy blob on the breast in the original? It might have been some sun sneaking into the lens. I do like the pose and setting a lot.

Love the wing spread and the downward gaze of the bird. I also notice the blob on the bird and wonder what caused it.

Wow, great catch here Dave, I always love it when the sun backlights a bird’s feathers and the pose is really nice too. Blue sky sets him off well without being a distraction. Probably could lose a little sky on top, and wondering about the loss of detail in his breast.

Beautiful pose, Dave! Also wondering about the patch on the body. And the clouds turn a funny colour yellow? Maybe the post processing needs a different approach, since the image in itself is definitely stunning!
