Now I know you had a great day photographing Eagles at Reelfoot Lake. Your post has very good feather detail and the contrast is well under control. What time of year would you recommend traveling to the lake, for the photo trip. My daughter lives in Cookeville, Tn.

Hi Peter, Iā€™d say late Spring for ospreys. October and early November for White Pelicans and eagles. January-February for on land eagle tours. Duck hunting season starts on the lake beginning in mid November. Make sure you book a tour with a ranger for photography.
