Exceptional lighting and plumage detail on this Great Egret. The setting works very well. Composition is excellent.
Agree with what David said - the detail is great - those feet! The light is to die for and the bg is just blurry enough to not attract too much attention, but show the environment nicely.

All said above – very nice!!! Although it’s reasonably camouflaged bu the reeds, I do wonder about removing the branch coming in from the LL.
Leave it be…it is in its natural state and lovely, just as it is.

This is a very nice looking Great Egret, with great detail and white control. I agree with Chris, the branch is part of the environment.
