Allen, this is a terrific image, and I would venture to say lucky on your part. So nice to get a clean take of such an elusive species.
Beautiful, Allen. I like the way the background trunk defines the left side of the image. I wish that one branch didn’t project into the foreground, but you can’t always avoid that.
Nice clean shot with a wonderful natural setting. The bird is striking enough that the OOF branch doesn’t bother me.

Did you add catchlights? A bit more room above would be nice but extremely minor critique.

Just wondering as sometimes they do not have them.
I add catchlights if appropriate.
