Black-crested Coquette

This is another image taken from the same spot we found the Snowcap. This guy , unlike the Snowcaps, offered us great looks several times over the course of our morning shoot.

Very nice detail and background.

A beautiful species, Chuck, and very well photographed. No nits on this.

The image design is excellent, Charles. You have got this guy in an awesome pose on an awesome perch. On viewing at 100%, it seems like the detail is not quite there. Perhaps it’s a big crop?

This is a very cool bird. It has a lot of plumage class. Color and exposure are right on. It might be a hair soft as noted by others but not a dealbreaker. The old butterfly farm was definitely a great place for some interesting species. I have quite a few very similar images.

What a gorgeous bird… great shot!
Regards, Ingrid.
