Bloomin Trees

I agree with Ed McGuirk that there are some fine colors as the land turns green in early spring. This is a quick look at two wild cherry trees, Prunus avium (on the right) and a Tulip (or Yellow) poplar, Liriodendron tulipifera, growing at the edge of my Maryland yard.

A cool array of colors, Mark. The polarizer really made that sky pop.

Mark, very well done with the color array and the deep blue sky as an excellent backdrop. The polarized sky is not overdone at all and for sure makes the detail & the color in the trees very pronounced…:+1:

Oh this is interesting, Mark. I am glad you mentioned that it was taken in Maryland because I am getting Japanese vibe from this image. There is a very subtle richness that is just so pleasing to see. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Wonderfully fresh feeling of Spring here, Mark ! The play of colours and the detail in the leafage are a real treat. It would have been nice to see the trunks, but I’m guessing that lower down there were obstacles in the way !!
