I noticed the bird, moved to create a graphic composition. Very difficult to do unless hand holding because of the time needed and commotion generated when using a heavy lens/tripod.

Nice composition. Pleasing pose and perch. I think it could use a bit more contrast. You don’t list your iso-and that is helpful information. This appears to be a somewhat large crop as I’m seeing some softness and noise.

The altitude comes with “challenges”.

yes - nicely composed and I like the head turn. Trying more contrast as suggested may improve the image.
