Brazos River almost flooding

Here is the Brazos River just before its highest levels during Hurricane Harvey. This is at the end of my street. Thank goodness , we did not flood…but we were close. My God, 50 inches of rain!!!

This is quite a dramatic view, Lucy, with the heavy purplish clouds and the nice pink glow in the water. Flooding rivers quickly cover an amazing amount of ground.

When you post to the WC, we’re asking that you include the tag with the WC number (859 in this case). I’ve added that to this post. - Thanks, Mark
