Here in NM fall brings color change to the cottonwoods in the Rio Grande Valley as well as a little rain as seen here in the background.

Sharon, the overall warm tones create a very inviting scene. I like how you’ve mixed the river, the fluffy reeds along the bank, and the cottonwoods. The back lighting has both the reeds and the cottonwoods glowing nicely.
Beautiful layers of subject and color. Great color in the cottonwoods. I might be inclined to crop most of the dark area of the sky, maybe about half of the sky above the upper right trees. I find it really pops the reeds and trees compositionally. Not a biggie though. Nice work.
