Fall in New Hampshire

This is an image I had posted on the original NPN, but it is one of my favorite fall photos, so I’ll post again for the weekly challenge.

This is the Swift River along the Kancamagus Highway in NH. I cropped off the left to get down to a 4x5, as there was a fairly blank section of water lower left.

Craig, the color coordination between the rocks in the stream and the fall colors is very enjoyable. The flow of the stream adds a nice touch of dynamism. It’s easy to see why this is a favorite.

Such a peaceful scene. I really like the warm, inviting tones. Can see why its a favorite.

Nicely done!

I can see why it’s a favorite. It’s just amazing.

Craig: Beautiful scene with a wonderful color palette. I would be tempted to crop some of the stream from the bottom as I think it competes with the trees for attention instead of being complementary. The shoreline pretty much bisects the frame and for me the image works better with the shoreline lower in the frame. Still a marvelous image. >=))>

Thanks @Igor_Doncov and @Bill_Fach!
